Youth Mentoring is a skilled practice where trained youth mentoring practitioners with a set of qualities and more experience in a particular area. A youth mentor guides and supports a young person in overcoming barriers to progression for at least 6 months. Using multi disciplinary approaches, mentoring tools and techniques, the youth mentor guides and supports the young person in the progression and achievement of their chosen goals and targets. |
